Cops Release CCTV of Man Linked to West London Stabbing
Detectives hunting a suspect in a shocking West London stabbing have shared CCTV footage of a man they want to identify.
Captured Moments Before Attack
The grainy video shows the man at a bus stop on the Brunel Estate at 5:15am on Wednesday, 22 April—just minutes before a violent stabbing nearby.
Police and London Ambulance Service were called at 5:36am after reports of a man stabbed on the Brunel Estate, off 1 Park Road, W2.
Victim Fights for Life
- The victim, a man in his 50s, suffered a stab wound to the stomach.
- He managed to board a bus and told a fellow passenger he’d been stabbed.
- The passenger alerted the driver, who helped until emergency crews arrived.
- He was rushed to a central London hospital and remains in critical condition.
No Arrests Yet—Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up
Detectives believe the stabbing happened within 100 yards of the bus stop shortly after the CCTV footage was taken. No arrests have been made so far.
Detective Chief Inspector Christina Jessah said: “We are particularly keen to identify the man pictured. If you were on the N28 or N31 bus near Westbourne Park Road around the time, or if you heard raised voices locally, even if it seems insignificant, please get in touch.”
