Murder Probe Launched After Teen Stabbed in Paddington
A 19-year-old man was fatally stabbed in Paddington Green on Friday night, sparking a murder investigation.
Police were called to the scene at 9.13pm on 26 February following reports of a stabbing. Emergency crews, including London’s Air Ambulance, rushed to aid the victim. Despite their efforts, Ahmed Beker was pronounced dead at 10pm.
Erratic Mopeds Spotted Near Scene
Detectives revealed that two mopeds were seen driving wildly against the traffic towards Harrow Road at the time of the attack. One even mounted the pavement. Officers believe these mopeds could be linked to the incident.
Moped Found Dumped by Canal
On Monday 1 March, police recovered one moped from the Grand Union Canal near Great Western Studios on Alfred Road. Authorities are urging anyone who spotted suspicious activity in the area since that Friday evening to speak up.

So far, no arrests have been made. The Metropolitan Police are appealing for dash cam footage or any information that could crack the case.
“We urge anyone who witnessed this incident or has dash cam footage of the mopeds to come forward,” said a Met spokesperson.
