Eleven Arrested After M25 Protest Chaos
Kent Police swooped on a disruptive protest at Junction 3 of the M25 this Wednesday morning. Around 7.30am, activists glued their hands to the road surface on the Swanley Interchange roundabout, bringing traffic to a standstill.
Swift Police Action on the M25
Officers moved fast, arresting 11 demonstrators within an hour. They face charges including obstructing the highway, conspiracy to commit public nuisance, and criminal damage.
Roundabout Closed, Traffic Held Up
The roundabout stayed shut until about 8.50am while National Highways cleared the scene and repaired the damaged road surface.
