Deadly Head-On Crash on A2990 Thanet Way – Kent Police Hunt Key Witness
Kent Police are urgently searching for a key witness after a fatal smash on the A2990 Thanet Way near Whitstable.
Man in His 50s Dies Instantly in Horror Collision
The tragic crash happened at 8.35pm on Thursday 16 October 2025. A silver Renault panel van slammed head-on into a blue Skoda Octavia travelling the opposite direction.
The Skoda driver, a man in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene. His devastated family have been informed.
The van driver was rushed to hospital and is now in a stable condition.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is probing the crash. They believe a driver of a car or small van travelling towards Whitstable around the time of the crash holds vital information.
Officers want to speak to this witness urgently.
