Gosport Woman Faces Trial Over Fatal Fareham Biker Crash
A Gosport woman is set to face trial over a tragic biker death in Fareham.
Elaine Dorey Charged Over 2015 Crash
Elaine Dorey, from Westcroft Road, Gosport, appeared briefly at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday. She is charged with careless driving connected to the death of Warash biker Julie Corben.
The fatal crash happened in June 2015 on the A27 near The Avenue and Catisfield Road junction, close to the Oast & Squire pub in Fareham.
Dorey to Stand Trial at Portsmouth Crown Court
Dorey did not enter a plea during the hearing and has elected for her case to be heard at Portsmouth Crown Court. Her trial is scheduled for January next year.
She was granted bail and had it extended at the hearing.
