Families & Police Plead for Witnesses
Detective Chief Inspector Kate Blackburn from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command said:
“My officers are working around the clock to untangle these senseless murders and find those responsible.
We remain in close contact with Kearne and Charlie’s families and are keeping them updated. We are following several leads and are keeping an open mind about any motive.”
“We’ve set up a public tip-off service for information and evidence related to the case. While the arrests are a step forward, we continue to investigate what happened on Saturday evening.”
“The public’s help is vital. Anyone who saw or heard anything that night, especially concerning a black Nissan Qashqai with silver roof bars spotted around Sewell Road or Titmuss Avenue, please get in touch. We have the car, but need witnesses who saw it being driven locally.”
