Tragic Motorcycle Crash on A93 Claims Man’s Life
Road Policing Officers are hunting for witnesses after a fatal smash on the A93 near Bridge of Cally. On Saturday, 22 July, a 30-year-old man died in a horror crash involving his Yamaha motorbike and two other vehicles – a Peugeot 2008 and a Ford Ranger.
Deadly Collision Shakes Glenshee Area
The crash happened at around 1.25pm BST as the motorcyclist was heading northbound. Emergency crews raced to the scene, but sadly, the biker was pronounced dead on the spot. The Peugeot driver, a 62-year-old man, and the Ford Ranger driver, a 27-year-old woman, walked away unharmed.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Sergeant Brian McEwen offered his condolences to the victim’s family, saying, “Our thoughts are with the family of the man who died in this crash.”
Now cops are scrambling for any info that could shed light on what happened. Sergeant McEwen stressed, “We are appealing to anyone who may have information that could help to get in touch. In particular, we are asking those who were driving in the area around the time of the crash, or anyone with dash-cam footage that could assist, to please contact us.”
