After a quick response, police confirmed the incident was a “domestic situation” with no ongoing threat to the public. An officer at the scene revealed the shooting happened within the store premises.
Female Victim Found Dead, Suspect Caught on North Side
The victim, a woman, was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the store’s back storage room and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police later arrested a suspect on Chicago’s North Side.
