Tragic Crash on Firefly Road Leaves One Dead, Four Injured
West Midlands Police are probing a fatal two-car smash on Firefly Road, Coventry, that claimed one life and left four more hurt. The horror unfolded just after 10pm on Saturday night.
Details of the Deadly Collision
A white Seat Leon Cupra and a blue Citroen C3 collided head-on. The 33-year-old driver of the Seat died instantly at the scene. His family has been informed and is receiving support during this tragic time.
A male passenger in his 30s from the Seat was rushed to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The blue Citroen carried three occupants – a man in his 50s and two women in their 60s – all badly hurt but stable and currently hospitalised.
Police Hunt for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Officers have interviewed witnesses and are combing through CCTV to piece together exactly how the crash happened. They urgently appeal to anyone driving near Firefly Road last night to check dashcam videos for clues.
