Samantha Murphy, a woman in her 30s, has been named as the victim who was stabbed to death at a property on Elfrida Close. Friends have paid heartfelt tributes to Samantha, revealing she knew the suspects involved.
Police Called in Early Hours
kent-police/" title="Kent Police">Kent Police responded to a call at around 3:10am on Saturday, 16 July 2022. Officers and the Southeast Coast Ambulance Service arrived at the scene where Samantha was found with stab wounds. She was rushed to a local hospital but was later pronounced dead.
Two Arrested, Investigation Ongoing
The Kent and 1 Serious Crime Directorate swiftly arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of murder. A woman in her 20s was also held, facing charges of murder and assisting an offender. Both remain in police custody as inquiries continue.
