Five Arrested Over Fatal Basingstoke Head Injury

Five men have been arrested in connection with the 2019 assault that left Frazer Brabant with fatal head injuries. Frazer, 34, was found seriously wounded in the rear garden of a home on Gershwin Road, Basingstoke, on October 31, 2019.

Despite medical care, Frazer never recovered and died in hospital on January 21, 2020. All five suspects were detained today on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder and remain in custody.

  • 27-year-old man
  • 25-year-old man
  • 28-year-old man
  • 22-year-old man
  • 32-year-old man

All were arrested in Basingstoke. Authorities continue to investigate the case.

Previous Arrests in Ongoing Murder Probe

Earlier this year, six more people were arrested in Basingstoke but later released under investigation. They include a 55-year-old woman held for perverting the course of justice and conspiracy to commit murder, plus several others suspected of similar charges and drug offences.

  • 32-year-old man – re-arrested on conspiracy charges
  • 57-year-old man – conspiracy to commit murder
  • 22-year-old woman – conspiracy to murder, supplying Class B drugs
  • 39-year-old man – conspiracy to commit murder
  • 37-year-old man – conspiracy to commit murder

Additionally, five men were arrested in November 2019 on suspicion of conspiracy to murder and remain under investigation. They hail from Basingstoke and Middlesex, aged from their twenties to thirties.
