The stabbing happened around 3:20pm on Sint Nicolaasstraat, just steps from the city’s iconic Dam Square, a hotspot for tourists and locals alike.
Eyewitnesses say an elderly woman and a young girl were both stabbed in the back during the attack. The motive remains unclear as police continue their investigation.
Suspect in Custody, Victims Treated
