Horrific Homophobic Attack on Camden Bus – Two Women Assaulted and Robbed

Police are hunting witnesses after a brutal homophobic assault left two women battered on a Camden bus in the early hours.

Victims Targeted on Night Bus

The attack happened around 2.30am on Thursday, 30 May. The two women, both in their 20s, had boarded the N31 bus in West Hampstead. While sitting on the top deck, a gang of four men subjected them to vile homophobic slurs.

Violent Assault and Robbery

The men then launched a vicious attack, punching the women multiple times before fleeing the scene. A phone and a bag were stolen during the ordeal. Both victims suffered facial injuries and were rushed to hospital for treatment.

Police Plea for Witnesses

Detectives urge anyone who saw the incident or has information to come forward. Contact the police on 101 or tweet @MetCC quoting CAD737/30May. Alternatively, call the anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.
