Man Arrested After Fire Erupts at Popular Essex Pub
Smoke and sirens filled Princes Road on Saturday afternoon as the Three Colts pub went up in flames. Police were called to the scene at around 4.50pm, but thankfully, no one was hurt.
Suspect Nabbed in Loughton for Arson
Shortly before 6pm, officers arrested a 48-year-old man in nearby Loughton. Spiros Schulz, of Eleven Acre Rise, now faces serious charges including arson with reckless disregard for life, arson intending to endanger life, and breaching a restraining order.
Court Appearance Scheduled for Monday
Schulz is set to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Monday 8 February, as the investigation continues.
