Kent Police Launch Major Crime Probe After Woman Found Dead in Whitstable
Tragic Scene in Belmont Road
Kent Police have launched a major crime investigation after a woman was found seriously injured in Whitstable. Sadly, she died at the scene.
Crime Scene Taped Off
The rear garden of the flats on Belmont Road has been sealed off. Officers in white forensic suits were seen photographing and collecting evidence from the grass area.
Emergency Services Respond
Kent Fire and Rescue Service were called to help force entry into the property. South East Coast Ambulance Service (Secamb) also attended the incident.
Official Statement
Kent Police confirmed: “We are currently attending an address in Belmont Road, Whitstable, following a report at 11.25am on Tuesday 28 April 2020 that a woman was seriously injured. Kent Fire and Rescue Service and Secamb are also in attendance.”
