Police Hunt Man in Green Jacket Over Ilford Stabbing
Detectives are on the trail of a man linked to a stabbing in Ilford on Bank Holiday Monday, 28 May. An e-fit image has been released as officers urge witnesses to come forward.
Suspect and Witness Descriptions Released
The suspect is an Asian male, aged 20-30, spotted wearing a long green coat. He was armed with an eight-inch silver knife featuring a brown handle. After the attack, he is believed to have fled towards Perth Road.
Police are also keen to speak with a woman seen nearby during the incident. She is described as white, with red hair, walking two dogs of the same breed—one light-coloured, one dark.
Victim Survives Stabbing
The stabbing happened near Valentines Park on Perth Road just after 4.28pm. A 28-year-old man was found with stab wounds to his back and neck. He was rushed to an east London hospital but his injuries were not life-threatening. He has since been discharged.
Police Appeal for Information
