A man has tragically died following a serious collision between a car and a pedestrian on Abridge Road in Theydon Bois, Essex.
Deadly Crash Shakes Theydon Bois
Emergency services rushed to the scene just before 6.30pm on Monday, 21 July, after reports of the crash. The victim, a man in his 50s from Basildon, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and is currently receiving hospital treatment.
Police Launch Murder-Style Probe
The Essex Police Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is leading the inquiry. Detectives are urgently calling for witnesses, dashcam footage, or any CCTV captures that might shed light on the incident.
