Hunt on for Serial Sex Attacker in East London

Scotland Yard detectives are hunting a thug linked to two brutal sexual assaults in Newham and Waltham Forest.

Two Victims, One Perpetrator

The first attack happened in Plaistow South on July 1 at 2.40am. A 35-year-old woman was walking home when a man crept up from behind and raped her. He also stole her belongings.

Just days later, on July 6 at 4.20am in Amethyst Road, Waltham Forest, a 31-year-old woman suffered a near-identical attack. The attacker again raped and robbed his victim.

Police say the two assaults are connected, and the suspect remains at large.
