Man’s Body Found in Children’s Play Area on Boxing Day
Police are probing after a man’s body was discovered in a children’s play area on Boxing Day in Titchfield Common, near Fareham.
Dog Walker Makes Grisly Find
The grim discovery was made just before lunchtime on Monday by a dog walker who immediately alerted police. Officers rushed to Primate Road, where the scene was quickly sealed off while investigations got underway.
Death Not Treated as Suspicious
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said: “At this time the death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.”
They added that the deceased’s identity will remain withheld until formal identification is complete.
