Man Taken Ill After Contact with Mysterious Substance on West End Lane
Police rushed to West End Lane, NW6, just before 10.30am on Thursday, 2 September, after a man fell ill following contact with an unknown noxious substance.
Burning Sensation and Faintness Alarm Locals
The man reportedly came into contact with a suspicious substance placed on a car parked near a nearby property. He then felt faint and described his hands burning.
Emergency Teams React Fast – But Substance Cleared
Officers and the London Fire Brigade quickly attended the scene. The man was treated on-site by paramedics.
Tests on the substance found nothing suspicious, and the scene was soon declared safe and closed.
