Drive-By Shooting Horror Rocks North London

Detectives are hunting killers after Michelle Sadio, 46, was shot dead in a brutal drive-by outside a wake in North London on Saturday night. Two men were also wounded in the chilling attack that shocked the local community.

Gunmen Open Fire Near Church

The terrifying shooting unfolded around 9:15pm as about 120 mourners were leaving the River of Life Elim Pentecostal Church on Gifford Road.

An anonymous witness said:

“The car with the gunmen drove past the church, looped around, then came back and blasted into the crowd. You could tell they were after someone specific. Eight shots rang out, rapid-fire. Michelle wasn’t the target, she was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.”

A local mother added:

“The car was crawling so slow, it was obvious they were hunting for someone. It’s terrifying for us all. Gang crime is rife around here.”

Tragic Victims and Police Probe Underway

Friends described Michelle as a “brilliant woman.” Despite paramedics’ desperate efforts, she died at the scene. Two men, both in their 30s, were also shot — one critically injured, the other less so.

Police have yet to make arrests. They’re combing through CCTV footage and appealing to anyone who saw what happened. Forensic teams continue their detailed work at the crime scene, which remains cordoned off.

Floral tributes have poured in as the community mourns.
