Man, 41, Found Dead at Upper Hollingdean Road Home

Brighton police launched a probe after a 41-year-old man was found dead inside a house on Upper Hollingdean Road. Emergency services arrived at around 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 16, responding to a welfare concern. Sadly, attempts to save him failed and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The death is currently unexplained, and officers are working hard to uncover what happened.

49-Year-Old Hove Man Arrested on Murder Suspicion

A 49-year-old man from Hove was arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody. Authorities confirmed the two men knew each other, but the exact details of their relationship remain unclear as the investigation continues.

Detective Chief Inspector Mark Cullimore pledged a strong police presence in the area. “There will be increased police activity in the area as we gather information and evidence to assist us in establishing what has led to this man’s death,” said Cullimore.
