Woman Killed in Brutal Attack Outside Romford Care Home

Chadwell Heath Lane in Romford, East London, remains sealed off this morning after a woman was fatally attacked in the early hours of Saturday.

Murder Probe Underway

The Met Police’s Specialist Crime Command (Homicide) have launched a murder investigation. Despite urgent efforts from paramedics and officers, the woman died at the scene following reports of a street brawl outside a care home.

Forensic teams are combing the area while police keep a tight cordon in place. Nearby residents described a chaotic overnight scene, with heavy policing and road closures causing major disruption.

Police Appeal for Information

The Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service have yet to release details on the victim’s age or whether arrests have been made. The circumstances leading to the attack remain unclear.
