Man Stabbed to Death in West London – Murder Probe Underway
A brutal murder investigation has been launched after a 40-year-old man was found fatally stabbed at his West London home on Saturday, August 12.
Distress Call Leads Police to Shocking Discovery
At around 11am, police were alerted to an unresponsive man at a house in multiple occupation on Nine Acres Close, Hayes. Officers rushed to the scene and discovered the victim, Krzysztof Baran, dead. A post-mortem confirmed he died from a stab wound.
Suspect Arrested at Scene
Detectives from the Metropolitan Police’s Specialist Crime Command are leading the investigation. A 38-year-old man was arrested at the property on suspicion of murder and is currently in custody at a West London police station.
“This appears to be an isolated incident with no threat to the wider community,” said Detective Chief Inspector Sal Minhas, who is overseeing the case. “We are supporting the victim’s family and will conduct a thorough investigation.”
