Woman Found Stabbed to Death in London Flat
Police were alerted on Sunday, 7 April, by friends worried about a woman’s welfare. The following morning, officers forced entry to her home on Stanhope Place, W2, at around 8.30am.
Inside, they found the woman deceased with multiple stab wounds. No arrests have been made so far.
Investigation Underway as Police Seek Public Help
Detective Chief Inspector Adam Clifton, leading the Met’s Specialist Crime Command, urged locals to come forward:
“Our enquiries are in the very early stages. We’re working round the clock to find out what happened and catch whoever is responsible. We’re asking residents to check doorbell cameras and drivers to review dashcams for any unusual activity around the address.”
Chief Superintendent Louise Puddefoot, head of Westminster policing, added, “Our thoughts are with the woman’s family. Officers will be in the area to offer support and gather information.”
