A 30-year-old man was found stabbed to death in a Leicester home, sparking a murder probe. Police rushed to Sawley Street just after 1:37am following emergency calls from East Midlands Ambulance.

The victim was declared dead at the scene, leaving locals stunned and distraught. Officers are assuring the community as they dig into the grim case.

Six Arrested – One Man Held Over Murder

Leicestershire Police have arrested six people linked to the killing. A 44-year-old man is in custody on suspicion of murder. Meanwhile, five others aged between 24 and 53 face charges of assisting an offender.

Detective Chief Inspector Tim Lindley said: “We’re dedicating significant resources to understand exactly what happened. Our priority is a full investigation and supporting the family. Anyone who heard or saw anything in the area in the early hours should get in touch.”
