Snooker Club Break-In Foiled: Burglar Nabbed in Swift Police Raid

Early Morning Smash and Grab at Swindon Snooker Club

A man is behind bars after a burglary attempt at Jesters Snooker Club in Swindon. Police were called out around 3am on 25th September following an intruder alarm on Greenbridge Road.

Officers arrived to find a smashed door and two suspects fleeing towards Marlowe Avenue. One suspect, 36, was quickly caught and searched, revealing a large box stuffed with cash.

One Arrested, Hunt Continues for Second Suspect

The detained man was arrested on suspicion of burglary and taken to Gablecross custody for questioning. Police are still searching for the second man seen escaping the scene.

Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dash Cam Footage

“We are conducting further enquiries in relation to this incident this morning including an extensive scope of CCTV opportunities,” said Inspector Louis McCoy. “We urge anyone who was passing through the area, especially those with dash cams, to come forward and help with our investigation.”
