A popular leisure spot in Nottingham city centre remains closed after a man tragically died in the early hours.

Emergency Services Rush to The Cornerhouse

Police and paramedics were called to The Cornerhouse on Burton Street at around 2.20am on Sunday, December 18. The victim, a 31-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Death Not Treated as Suspicious

Authorities say the man’s death is not being treated as suspicious, though an investigation is underway to uncover the full details.

“The man’s family and friends are being supported by specially trained officers at this extremely difficult time,” said Chief Inspector Chris Pearson. “We are not looking for anyone else in connection with the man’s death. Our thoughts remain with his family and friends and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
