Tragic Death in Brighton as Emergency Services Rush to Scene

A grim scene unfolded in Hollingbury, Brighton on the evening of Saturday, February 24. Emergency crews scrambled to the junction of Carden Avenue and Dale Drive following reports of a medical emergency at around 6:15 pm.

Paramedics’ Desperate Efforts End in Heartbreak

The South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) arrived swiftly and gave urgent first aid to a critically ill 60-year-old man. Despite their best efforts, the man sadly died at the scene.

Police Confirm No Suspicious Circumstances

A Sussex Police spokesperson said: “Emergency Services were called to reports of a medical incident on the junction of Dale Drive and Carden Avenue, Brighton at around 6:15 pm on Saturday (24 February). Sadly, despite the best efforts of paramedics, a 60-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.”

The man’s next of kin have been informed. Police stressed there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
