Man Dies in Early Morning Crash on Leamore Lane
A 46-year-old man died instantly at the scene of a crash on Leamore Lane just before 7am. A 48-year-old passenger sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Detective Sergeant Paul Hughes from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “We are in the early stages of our investigation. Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the deceased as they come to terms with this tragic event.”
He added: “Specialist family liaison officers are supporting them during this incredibly sad time. We urge anyone who saw the crash or has dashcam footage to come forward and help us understand exactly what happened.”
