Woman Targeted in Bag Snatch Attempt in Broad Daylight
A 50-year-old woman was nearly robbed at the bottom of Cramond Terrace on Saturday, 15 May 2021. A man approached her and tried to snatch her bag.
Suspect Spotted Near Playpark
The attacker is described as a slim man, about 5ft 6in tall, in his 30s. He had a scruffy look and wore a black jacket over a grey top with grey jeans.
“Fortunately, the woman was not injured but left extremely upset by what happened,” said Detective Constable Lee Keller from Ellon CID.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
DC Keller added: “There are several paths from the playpark to nearby streets. If anyone saw this man before or after the incident, please get in touch. Even small details could be crucial.”
He also called on drivers with dash-cam footage from the area to contact police.
