Tragic Crash on Guildford Road Kills Two Young Men
A fatal collision involving two blue Volkswagens slammed Guildford Road at around 8.45pm on Saturday night.
Two Dead, Another Hospitalised After Horror Smash
The crash between a Volkswagen Golf and a Volkswagen Sharan claimed the lives of two men in their 20s, both occupants of the Golf. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
The Sharan’s driver was rushed to hospital with injuries that are thankfully not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
Police Hunt Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
The road remains shut as emergency crews, including fire and ambulance, continue their work.
Officers are urgently appealing for anyone who saw the collision or has dashcam footage to come forward. Police especially want to speak with a man and woman in a small white vehicle who stopped at the scene but left before they could be questioned.
