Just after midnight yesterday, a 19-year-old man suffered multiple injuries following a serious assault which took place in Wolsely Avenue, Park South.
The victim was chased by a group of males before being stabbed.
He was treated at the scene for his wounds, which were serious but not life threatening, and is currently recovering in hospital.
A/Det Sgt Craig Rathbone said: “This was a very concerning assault by what we believe to be a group of males which resulted in the victim sustaining significant injuries.
“It is vitally important that we hear from anyone with information about this incident. We would also urge anyone who was driving in the area at the time to check dashcam footage for anything that might assist in identifying those involved.”
