£30,000 Jewellery Heists Spark Hunt for White Van Suspects

Police are on the lookout after two bold jewellery raids rocked East Sussex last month.

£23,000 Stolen in Robertsbridge Raid

Officers rushed to Mountfield Lane, Robertsbridge, on February 11 after thieves made off with roughly £23,000 worth of jewellery. The daylight robbery took place between midday and 3pm.

Second Jewellery Smash-and-Grab Hits Etchingham

Just six days later, on February 17, a similar break-in occurred at a Hurst Green, Etchingham home. This time, gold jewellery valued between £5,000 and £10,000 was stolen between midday and 1.30pm.

White Mercedes Van Spotted – Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up

Detectives are especially keen to hear from anyone who saw suspicious activity or a white Mercedes van in the areas around the time of the robbery.
