Knife Threat Sparks Arrest at Nottingham Pub
Chaos erupted inside The Joseph Else pub on South Parade, Nottingham, just before 6pm on 27 December. Cops rushed to reports of men arguing, only to find that one man had allegedly brandished a knife at a group.
Knife Found, Man Busted
Officers swiftly discovered a knife left on a chair. After checking CCTV footage, police arrested a 31-year-old on suspicion of carrying a bladed article in public. A search revealed a bag of white powder, leading to a second arrest for possession of a class-A drug.

“Thankfully no-one was seriously injured during this isolated incident but we are continuing to work hard to establish exactly what happened,” said Sergeant Paul Crofts of Nottinghamshire Police.
“Violence will not be tolerated on our streets. We will take robust action against those who carry and use dangerous weapons.”
