Security Guard Hospitalised After Vodka Theft Turns Violent
At 9.35pm on Saturday 26 June, a man stormed into a store and nicked a bottle of vodka. But when the security guard tried to stop him, things took a nasty turn.
Guard Assaulted, Breaks Ankle
The thief assaulted the guard, causing him to fall and break his ankle. The injured man, in his 20s, was rushed to southampton/" title="Southampton" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Southampton General Hospital for treatment.
Police Hunt Slim, Bearded Suspect
Police are now on the lookout for a white man aged 25 to 33, slim build, with dark brown hair and a short beard. He was seen in the area at the time and could hold the key to the investigation.
