Driver Dies in Early Morning Smash
Just after 12.40am, a black Vauxhall Corsa careered off Panxworth Road and smashed into a property. Emergency teams rushed to the scene, but the driver—a man in his 30s—was sadly pronounced dead at the spot.
Property Damaged, No Injuries Inside
The impact left serious damage to the house, but thankfully, no one inside was hurt. The road remained closed for over eight hours while officers conducted their initial investigations, reopening around 8.40am.
