Tragic Brixton Stabbing Victim Named: 21-Year-Old Ronaldo Scott

The young man fatally stabbed in Brixton has been identified as 21-year-old Ronaldo Scott. Police are investigating the brutal attack while offering support to his shattered family.

Stabbing Shakes Brixton Community

The horrific incident happened on Monday, September 4, on Morrison Road, SW9. At 12:08pm, officers and the London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene after reports of a stabbing.

When help arrived, Ronaldo was found with severe injuries. Despite frantic efforts by paramedics and police, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The news has sent shockwaves through the local community, with many describing Ronaldo as well-liked and popular.

Police Launch Serious Investigation

“We are in the early stages of our investigation and have a number of lines of enquiry underway, including reviewing extensive CCTV footage,” said Detective Chief Inspector Kate Blackburn.

“Ronaldo was a popular, well-liked man, and his death will be felt throughout the community. My thoughts are with Ronaldo’s family and friends.”

To crack down on further violence, police have imposed a Section 60 Order across Lambeth. This grants officers extra stop-and-search powers and will be in place until 1pm on September 6, 2023.

Lambeth Police Step Up Community Patrols

“Another young man has lost his life to knife crime,” said Detective Chief Superintendent Seb Adjei-Addoh, Borough Commander for Lambeth.

“My thoughts are with Ronaldo’s family, friends, and our local community.”

“Our Community Engagement team will be patrolling the area to offer support and listen to concerns. We encourage anyone with information or worries to come forward.”
