Police Step Up Hunt for Okechukwu Iweha’s Killer in Haringey

Detectives are ramping up their probe into the shocking murder of Okechukwu Iweha. The 123-year-old was fatally stabbed in the chest in Haringey, with a post-mortem confirming the wound as the cause of death.

Family in Mourning as Police Pursue Leads

Okechukwu’s family is being supported by specialist officers as they come to terms with their devastating loss. Detective Chief Inspector Neil John from the Specialist Crime Command says significant progress has been made but investigators need the public’s help.

“Anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious around the time of the murder must come forward. Every detail could be crucial,” said DCI John.

Man Arrested and Released – Police Still Urge Witnesses to Speak Up

A 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder on 10 April but has since been released without further action. Police continue to appeal for information.
