Man Found Dead on Sipson Lane Sparks Murder Probe
Mohamed Muhiyidin, 28, was discovered lifeless on Sipson Lane, Harlington early on Sunday, 31 October. A passing motorist spotted his body at 6.16am and called the emergency services.
Emergency Services Rush to Scene
Officers and London Ambulance paramedics arrived quickly, finding Mohamed believed to be in cardiac arrest. Despite their best efforts, he was pronounced dead at 7am. A post-mortem is scheduled for Tuesday, 2 November at Uxbridge Mortuary to determine the cause of death.
Murder Investigation Launched
The Met Police have opened a full murder investigation. Mohamed’s grieving family have been informed and are receiving support from specialist officers.
Detective Inspector Melanie Pressley from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command urged the public to come forward with any information.
“If you drove along Sipson Lane on Saturday or early Sunday morning, please think carefully about anything unusual you saw or heard—and check your dashcam footage,” she said.
“We also want anyone who knew Mohamed and might understand why he was targeted to speak up.”
“Mohamed’s family are devastated, and we know people out there have information. You can share it completely confidentially with Crimestoppers.”
