Hammersmith Bus Horror: Police Hunt Man Over Sexual Assault
Detectives in Hammersmith are on the lookout for a man linked to a shocking act of exposure and sexual assault on a crowded bus. In a bid to catch the culprit and protect the community, police have released an image of the suspect and are urgently appealing for public help.
Disturbing Incident on Bus 272
The vile attack took place on Thursday, August 17, around 8:30 a.m. on the 272 bus route near Askew Road, Hammersmith. The bus was packed with passengers when the man carried out the disgusting assault.
Police Plea for Information
Leading the investigation, Detective Superintendent Ross Morrell highlighted how deeply upsetting the incident has been for witnesses. “Do you recognise this man? Can you help us with our enquiries?” he asked, urging anyone with information to speak up.
