Teen Stabbed to Death Near Old Leigh Pub

An 18-year-old man was fatally stabbed in a shocking attack near The Peterboat pub on High Street, Old Leigh. The victim was rushed to hospital by two people around 6pm on Friday 26 February but died shortly after.

Single Stab Wound to the Heart

A post-mortem revealed the young man died from a single stab wound to the heart. Police are treating the killing as a targeted attack and are hunting those responsible.

Police Launch Murder Hunt for Alfie Pollard

Detective Chief Inspector Stuart Truss is urgently seeking 17-year-old Alfie Pollard, known to have ties to Leigh-on-Sea and Southend. DCI Truss said:

“We urgently need to speak to Alfie Pollard in connection with our investigation. I strongly urge him, or anyone who knows where he is, to contact us immediately.”

“Anyone caught helping those involved in this violent killing will face a thorough investigation and possible prosecution.”
