Two Teens Arrested After Major Fire Rips Through Canterbury City Centre
Detectives have made a second arrest in connection with a huge blaze that tore through a property on Guildhall Street, Canterbury.
Blaze Breaks Out at Canterbury Property
Kent Police rushed to the scene on Monday, December 2, at around 8:45pm after reports of a significant fire. The Kent Fire and Rescue Service battled the flames, while police shut down roads and evacuated nearby residents to keep the area safe.
Two 15-Year-Old Boys in Custody
On Wednesday, December 4, police arrested a 15-year-old boy from Ashford linked to the fire. He joins another 15-year-old boy who was detained the previous day. Both remain in custody as detectives press ahead with their probe.
