A South Carolina mum has been arrested after allegedly having a sexual encounter with a 14-year-old boy — with her three kids in the car at the time.
Aladrian Chandler Charged Over Underage Sex
Aladrian Chandler, 26, faces serious charges of second-degree criminal sexual misconduct with a minor following the incident last month in Lake City, South Carolina. She was jailed at Florence County Detention Center on December 8.
Chandler admitted to a “sexual encounter” with the teenager but denied intercourse. She claims she believed he was older — a defence that South Carolina law instantly rejects.
How Did This Shocking Case Unfold?
The 14-year-old told cops he first met Chandler while she was delivering food. They swapped numbers on November 16 and started texting. Just two days later, Chandler reported a gun stolen from her car, sparking a police probe.
Under questioning, Chandler alleged the boy took the gun. She also said the sexual incident happened after visiting a friend to discuss her messages with the teen.
Still Behind Bars With No Bail
Chandler’s bond hearing was scheduled for December 8, but jail records show she remains in custody without bail. If convicted, she faces at least two years before parole eligibility.
