Kent Fire and Rescue Service jumped into action overnight after a fire broke out in a flat on Broad Street, Deal.

Three fire engines stormed the scene. Firefighters donned breathing gear and unleashed a hose reel jet, backed up with two powerful main jets and water from a hydrant to battle the flames.
Road Reopens, No Injuries Reported
The street was shut down during the emergency but has since reopened. Thankfully, no one was hurt. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
