Stacey Solomon Tackles DIY Disasters in New Channel 4 Show
Stacey Solomon is swapping the singing stage for the toolbox! The bubbly DIY queen is set to host Channel 4’s brand new series, “Stacey Solomon’s Renovation Rescue,” stepping in to replace the beloved Grand Designs. Her mission? To help homeowners left high and dry by botched building projects.
Rescuing Families from Renovation Nightmares
In the show, Stacey visits families across the UK who’ve fallen victim to dodgy builders and unfinished renovations that have drained their savings. Armed with her trademark enthusiasm and savvy money-saving design tricks, Stacey aims to rescue these half-finished homes without blowing the budget.
Viewers will meet Erick and Caroline, an Enfield couple forced to redo huge chunks of their project at great cost. Stacey rolls up her sleeves to guide them through plumbing fixes, floor fitting, decking installation and more – all while sharing clever design hacks to transform their space.
Stacey Gets Personal with a Home Gym Makeover
But it’s not just about helping others. Stacey also tackles a personal DIY task at Pickle Cottage, her own home. She’s building a dividing wall in her garage to separate her home gym from her husband Joe’s fishing gear – giving fans a peek at her own renovation skills in action.
When and Where to Watch
Stacey Solomon’s Renovation Rescue premieres on Channel 4 and All 4 on Wednesday, April 10 at 9:00 PM. Six episodes will follow weekly, promising plenty of DIY drama and design inspiration as Stacey works her magic to save homeowners from renovation disasters.
