Police Crack Down on Drug Dealers in Penge

In a major swoop this week, officers raided four homes in Penge, hitting back hard at illegal drug trade and youth violence in Bromley. The operation targeted Class A and B drug suppliers across Penge and nearby areas.

Massive Haul of Drugs, Cash, and Stun Gun Seized

On Tuesday, 11 June, police found large quantities of Class A and B drugs, cannabis growing gear, stacks of cash, and even a stun gun during their raids. Three men aged 25, 29, and 39 were arrested but have since been released under investigation as enquiries continue.

Force Vows to Tackle Crime Head-On

“This operation shows our commitment to tackling youth violence and those supplying drugs within our communities,” said Police Constable Chris Todd of Bromley’s Neighbourhood Team. “We removed a significant amount of drugs and an illegal weapon from London’s streets.”

Chief Inspector Craig Knight added: “We always act when the community reports drug dealing. I’m pleased this operation has made a real difference to those living in Penge. We urge anyone with information to come forward.”
