A 15-year-old girl was raped late Sunday night in Romford, sparking a serious police probe. The Metropolitan Police were called to St Edmund’s Way at 11:36pm on Sunday, 22 June, following reports of a sexual assault.
Victim Found and Given Specialist Support
Officers arrived to find the teenager, who disclosed she had been raped. She is now receiving specialist care from trained officers as forensic teams scour the scene, which remains cordoned off. Police worked through the night gathering evidence.
