Teenager Fatally Stabbed in Woolwich Evening Horror

A teenage boy has tragically died following a stabbing in Woolwich tonight. The violent attack happened around 6:35pm on Eglinton Road, near Ripon Road.

Emergency Services Rush to Scene

Officers from the Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service were quick to respond after reports of a disturbance. They found the boy suffering from serious stab wounds. Despite desperate attempts to save him, he was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after arrival.

Police Launch Murder Investigation

The victim’s next of kin have been informed. The local community has been left reeling as police scramble to hunt down those responsible. No arrests have been made yet, but enquiries are underway.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at approximately 18:35hrs on Sunday, 22 September to reports of a disturbance on Eglinton Road, SE18.”
