15-Year-Old Boy Stabbed to Death in Hackney

A murder investigation is in full swing after a 15-year-old boy was fatally stabbed in broad daylight in Hackney. The shocking attack took place at around 4:05 PM on Tuesday, July 23, in Stellman Close, E5.

Police Rush to Scene But Victim Dies

Emergency services raced to the scene following reports of a stabbing. Officers found the teenager suffering from multiple stab wounds. Despite the quick response and paramedics’ best efforts, the boy was pronounced dead at the scene.

Suspect on the Run – Police Seek Witnesses

Detective Chief Superintendent James Conway, in charge of Hackney policing, said: “The death of a child is devastating, and my first thoughts are with his family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.”

He added, “The local community is reeling, but we are committed to a swift response. Officers are working hard to identify suspects involved in this tragic event. Residents should expect a strong police presence and some road closures while the investigation continues.”

Detective Chief Inspector Kelly Allen, leading the inquiry, urged witnesses to come forward: “This happened in a busy area during the day, so we believe crucial witnesses are out there. The suspect likely fled on foot. Anyone in or near Stellman Close around the time must get in touch.”
